Most basic fuse holders require disconnecting the power cable to change the fuse — a hassle when you're troubleshooting a tripped thruster circuit. The T2's independent cable retention means the cable stays clamped in place while you swap the fuse, so replacement is fast and doesn't risk loosening your wiring connection. The base material's improved thermal properties help dissipate heat under sustained high-current draw, which matters on a circuit pulling the kind of amperage a bow thruster demands.

Use
Used in Lewmar bow thruster installations (standard equipment in the Lewmar 140TT 2.0kW Bow Thruster Kit, among others) to protect the high-current circuit between the battery and thruster motor. Accepts ANL-type fuses only — not compatible with Class T fuses.
