Why It's Worth It
The Ocean Series has earned its reputation through decades on the water: an anodized aluminum frame and acrylic-bonded lens reduce water infiltration even with the hatch open, and friction levers hold the lid steady at any position up to 95° without needing a separate support arm. CE Area 2 certification (deck, coach roof, cockpit, and transom) means it's rated for installation virtually anywhere on the boat that calls for a hatch this size.

Use
Installs on a flat surface with a maximum tolerance of ±1mm. Fastening at the hinge section uses M6 (1/4") hardware; the lower frame uses a 5mm CSK Screw No.10 UNC 2 BA. Minimum hull thickness 25mm, maximum 72mm. This is a flat-base hatch, which means it's not compatible with trim kits or roller shades — if you want those accessories, you'll need the flange-base version instead.
