A classic, rugged offshore hatch fitted to thousands of boats worldwide — the flange-base version extends 1" into the opening for a finished, recessed fit, and stays compatible with optional trim and screen kits.

Why It's Worth It
The flange's 1" extension into the hatch opening gives a cleaner installed look than the flat-base version, and keeps this hatch compatible with Lewmar's optional trim and screen kits (sold separately) if you want added insect protection or a finished interior surround. At Size 30 and up, the Ocean Series adds lockable internal and external handles for real security, with friction-lever hinges holding the lid open at any angle up to 95°.

Use
Installs with a 1" flange extending into the hatch opening, with a maximum surface tolerance of ±1mm. Fastening at the hinge section uses M6 (1/4") hardware; the lower frame uses a 5mm CSK Screw No.10 UNC 2 BA. Rated for CE Area 2 use (deck, coach roof, cockpit, transom). Trim and screen kits are sold separately and not included.
