A Gen 2 twin-joystick controller that gives independent joystick control of both a bow and stern thruster from a single panel — for captains who prefer the precision of a physical stick over a flat pad for dual-thruster maneuvering.

Where the dual pad (589222) uses a single multi-axis function pad for both thrusters, the dual joystick gives each thruster its own dedicated stick — more intuitive for experienced operators who want independent, tactile control of bow and stern thrust simultaneously without sharing a single input surface. The sealed membrane switch panel keeps moisture and dust out, the snap-on bezel hides mounting screws for a clean installation, and the multi-function LED indicator shows system deployment, thruster operation, low voltage, motor temperature warnings, and fault conditions in real time.

Upgrade Path
Fits the existing cut-out and fixing screw positions of all previous Lewmar joystick, dual joystick, and touch panel generations — no new cutout required when upgrading. For older Black Box thrusters, add the controller adapter (589842). For a second helm station, use a Gen 2 Y-connector (589800) and additional AUX loom cable (589801–589805).

Use
Compatible with all Lewmar TT, RT, SRT, and VRT thrusters fitted with a Blue Box. Installs without rear access. Connects to the thruster via Gen 2 AUX loom cables (589801–589805, sold separately).
