A complete, ready-to-use Lewmar anchor rode pairing 8-plait nylon rope with G4 chain and a shackle — pre-spliced at the factory so it's ready to load straight into your locker and windlass.

Use
Designed to complement the rope-chain gypsies fitted to all Lewmar windlasses, this rode is built for boats that want the locker-friendly stowage and smooth gypsy feed of 8-plait combined with the abrasion resistance and bottom weight of chain near the anchor. The included shackle attaches directly to your anchor.

Why 8-Plait + G4
8-plait's woven, bi-directional lay relaxes when slack and tightens under load, so it flakes cleanly into the locker and feeds through the gypsy like chain — no coiling, hockling, or bird's-nesting. The G4 section adds the weight and abrasion resistance you want right at the anchor end, while keeping the overall rode lighter than an all-chain setup.
