26.2 Software Patch for ActiveTarget®
This software patch for ActiveTarget includes various bug fixes and applies to both ActiveTarget and ActiveTarget 2 sonar modules.

Tip: For optimal performance, we strongly recommend using a water temperature source that remains consistently submerged. Refer to the 26.2 Release Notes for additional guidance and configuration details.
Important — NEON™ users updating from 26.2-72.1.36
If you are updating an ActiveTarget or ActiveTarget 2 module from a Simrad® NSX®, NSS®4, or NSO®4 display on the NEON™ operating system, and the module is currently running software version 26.2-72.1.36, you must:
- Download software version 26.2-72.1.37 from the website.
- Copy the update file to the root of a microSD card.
- Rename the file by adding
.autobefore the.riwextension so the MFD can recognize the update file.

Renamed filename
ActiveTarget-26.2-72.1.37-Standard-1.auto.riw
If you are updating from an older software version (26.1 or earlier) on the same NEON™ displays, there is no need to rename the file before performing the update.
