A self-launching, one-piece galvanized Delta anchor — drops cleanly off the bow roller and sets fast thanks to its ballasted toe and low center of gravity.

Why It's Worth It
The Delta's shank profile and ballasted tip are engineered to make it self-launching, so it falls unaided from the bow roller rather than needing to be muscled off — a real advantage on remotely operated windlasses where you're controlling deployment from a switch, not by hand. The heavy ballast in the toe ensures the anchor engages the seabed the instant it touches down, and the low center of gravity with self-righting geometry means it sets immediately rather than dragging while it orients itself.
