The EVO series builds on decades of Ocean winch design with refinements aimed at everyday usability: direction arrows molded into the winch make it obvious which way to turn, even for less experienced crew, and a cast stainless steel top-mounted feeder arm prevents rope traps above the Wavespring jaws while letting you adjust feed position for a smooth line path into the cockpit. No tools are needed to service it — just unscrew the top cap by hand to access the drum and gear train. Like the Ocean Series at this size, it's convertible to electric operation if you want to upgrade later.
