Lewmar Thruster Y-Cable — Gen 1, 4-Wire Dual Controls (589025)

A 4-wire Y-connector that lets you add a second or third control panel to a Gen 1 110TT or 140TT 2.0kW thruster installation — no need to run a duplicate full-length cable back to the thruster.

Why It's Worth It
If you're adding a second helm station or a flybridge control for a Gen 1 thruster using the simple joystick (589094), running an entirely new control cable all the way back to the thruster wastes wiring and adds unnecessary complexity. This Y-connector splits the connection at the thruster end instead, letting both panels share a single feed. For standard installations (without the optional Automatic Battery Safety Switch), use standard 4-wire connecting cables — if you're fitting the Automatic Battery Safety Switch, use Lewmar's 5-wire cables instead.

Use
Install at the thruster end of the control cable run. Connect the existing control cable to one leg of the Y, and run a new cable from the second leg to the additional control panel. For each additional panel, order one Y-connector plus one control cable sized for the distance to that panel. Compatible with Gen 1 110TT and 140TT 2.0kW thrusters using the simple joystick (589094). For Gen 2 thrusters, use the Gen 2 Y-connector (589800) instead.
