Lewmar Basic Joystick Thruster Control Panel (589094)

The entry-level joystick controller for Lewmar's smallest thrusters — the only panel in the Lewmar lineup compatible with the 110TT and 140TT 2.0kW Gen 1 thrusters, with plug-and-play wiring and on/off illumination.

Why It's Worth It
Simple and purpose-specific: this is exactly what the 110TT and 140TT 2.0kW thrusters need for basic joystick control, with no unnecessary complexity. A 1-second press-and-hold activates the safety lock so the thruster can't fire accidentally, plug-and-play wiring connects directly to the thruster without a separate Black Box or control box, and a Y-connector (589025, sold separately) enables dual-station control if you want a second panel at a different helm position.

Important Compatibility Note
This is the only Lewmar thruster controller designed for the 110TT Gen 1 and 140TT 2.0kW Gen 1 thrusters — all other Lewmar joystick controllers (589223, 589268, etc.) require a Black Box-equipped thruster (2.2kW and above). Unlike those controllers, the 589094 does not include an auto-shutoff safety feature — the thruster will remain enabled until manually switched off.

Use
Installs via a standard hole saw cutout. Plug-and-play cable connection directly to the thruster — no Black Box or control box required. For dual-station control, add a Y-connector (589025) and a second cable run to the additional panel. Compatible with 12V and 24V systems.
