The Lewmar Axis is an electric shallow water anchor that deploys with a single push of a button — no winching, no wrestling with a pole, no hydraulic lines to fuss over. In about 8 seconds it's down and holding, quietly enough that you won't spook the fish you came for.

The whole point of an electric design is what it leaves out: no hydraulic pump, no hoses, no fluid to top off or leak. Just a sealed 12V actuator doing the work, controlled from a wireless keychain remote you can keep in your pocket. If you run two Axis anchors — bow and stern — you can control both from that same single remote, which is a nice touch for boats that want to lock in position from both ends instead of swinging on one point.

It's built to live outside. The actuator carries an IP68M rating, so it's sealed against water intrusion even while it's working underwater, not just when it's stowed. Installation is direct-mount onto a flat transom, and if your boat doesn't have one, Lewmar sells separate brackets for jack plates, motor mounts, pontoon decks, and quick-release setups, so you're not boxed into one hull style.
