The J3 general-purpose I/O Deutsch connector harness kit for the Maretron MPower CLMD16 — a 26-pin Deutsch connector with 1m flying leads that terminates the switch input, tank level, and general I/O wiring from the CLMD16's J3 port.

Why It's Worth It
The CLMD16's J3 port is the most complex connector on the module — it handles 8 hard-wired switch inputs, 3 tank level inputs, and other general-purpose I/O signals via a Deutsch DRC26-24SA 26-pin connector not included with the base CLMD16 module. Without J3 wired, switch inputs (for physical switches, bilge alarms, hatch sensors) and tank level monitoring are unavailable. The 1m pre-made leads in this harness kit eliminate the need to source and crimp individual 26-pin Deutsch contacts — the most tedious connector in the CLMD16 system to field-terminate.

Use
Plug the Deutsch 26-pin connector into the J3 I/O port on the CLMD16. Flying leads connect to physical switches (for local breaker control), bilge float switches, hatch position sensors, and tank level senders — refer to the CLMD16 installation manual for the full signal map. Order alongside A3708 (J2 output connector) and A3709 (J1 output connector) to complete the full wiring harness for a standalone CLMD16 installation. Note: a Deutsch HDT-48-00 crimp tool is required if wiring the Deutsch plug directly rather than using this pre-made kit.
