Maretron ACM100-01 Alternating Current Monitor

A single module that puts your entire AC electrical system — shore power, generator, utility bus — on the NMEA 2000 network for real-time monitoring at any compatible display on the vessel.

Why It's Worth It
Most boats have no visibility into what their AC electrical system is actually doing — voltage sags, frequency variations, power factor issues, and energy consumption all happen invisibly. The ACM100 changes that: one module connects to the AC source via the included 100A current transducer and reports voltage, current, frequency, real power, reactive power, apparent power, power factor, and total energy imported/exported over NMEA 2000 to any compatible display or N2KView installation on the boat. Opto-isolation between the AC measurement circuit and the NMEA 2000 network eliminates ground loops — a genuinely important safety consideration when measuring high-voltage AC. Supports single-phase, split-phase, and full 3-phase configurations, so it works equally well on a 30A shore power connection or a 3-phase ship's service system.

Use
Connects to the NMEA 2000 network via standard Micro-C. The included 100A current transducer clamps around the AC load conductor — no cutting of the AC wiring required. For currents above 100A, an optional 400A transducer (M000612) is available separately. Mount in any orientation in a dry or damp location — note the IP64 rating (not IP67), so avoid direct water spray or immersion. Mount away from engines where temperature exceeds 130°F (55°C). Configure via Maretron DSM250, DSM410, or N2KAnalyzer software.
