Maretron IPG100-01 Internet Protocol Gateway

A network bridge that puts your entire NMEA 2000 network on Ethernet — letting any device running N2KView (PC, Mac, tablet, smartphone) monitor and control the vessel from anywhere on the boat's LAN or remotely over the internet.

Why It's Worth It
The conventional way to view NMEA 2000 data is a dedicated display wired directly to the network. The IPG100 breaks that constraint entirely: plug it into the NMEA 2000 trunk on one side and your boat's Ethernet network on the other, and every N2KView-capable device on the LAN instantly has access to the full network — engine data, tanks, navigation, weather, alarms, switching — without a dedicated display in each location. Add a cellular router or satellite connection and you can monitor and control the vessel from a smartphone ashore in real time via Maretron's optional Real Time Cloud Service. Multiple clients can connect simultaneously, and the N2KView software license includes the MBB300C, TSM touch screens, and mobile devices — you're not buying per-device licenses.

Important Compatibility Note
The IPG100 requires an N2KView hardware license dongle with serial number 500 or higher. If you're upgrading from a USB100-based setup with an older dongle (serial number 1-499), contact Maretron to exchange it before ordering. Real Time Cloud Service for remote access requires an additional monthly subscription — confirm current pricing with Maretron before purchasing.

Use
Connects to the NMEA 2000 network via Micro-C and to the boat's LAN via standard RJ-45 Ethernet. Supports DHCP for automatic IP assignment or static IP configuration. Mount in any orientation — horizontal, vertical, or upside down — in a dry or damp location away from engines where temperature may exceed 130°F (55°C). For fully waterproof installation, the optional USB Waterproof Cover (PX0852) and Waterproof Ethernet Cable (PX0837) must be added; the NMEA 2000 connector is already waterproof. Configure via any N2KView client on the same network.
