Maretron MS-1035 Rectangular Magnetic Switch — Indoor (MS-1035)

A two-part, surface-mount rectangular magnetic reed switch for indoor use — the indoor-rated sibling to the MS-1085-N, for monitoring hatches, doors, lockers, and access points in protected interior locations.

Why It's Worth It
Where the MS-1085-N handles outdoor exposure and the MS-1075 presses into a drilled hole, the MS-1035 is the straightforward surface-mount solution for interior applications — screws to any flat surface, no drilling required beyond the mounting holes. The hermetically sealed reed switch encapsulated in polyurethane holds up reliably in protected indoor environments, and it connects to the SIM100 with the same two-wire, no-end-of-line-resistor wiring as every other switch in this family.

Use
Surface-mounts to any flat surface — one half to the fixed frame, the other to the moving panel. Connect the two wires from the sensor portion to a free switch channel on the SIM100 (no end-of-line resistor required). Configure the SIM100 channel mode to "No End of Line Resistor" via a Maretron DSM display or N2KAnalyzer software. For outdoor or exposed installations, use the MS-1085-N instead.
