Maretron MS-1075 Recessed Magnetic Switch — Indoor/Outdoor (MS-1075)

A two-part, press-fit recessed magnetic reed switch for indoor or outdoor use — installs invisibly into a drilled hole with no screws or glue, giving a clean, flush finish on hatches, doors, lockers, or any opening the SIM100 monitors.

Why It's Worth It
Where the MS-1035 and MS-1085-N surface-mount visibly on the panel face, the MS-1075 disappears into a 3/8" hole with a simple press-fit — no hardware showing, no adhesive, no backing plate. The heavy-duty ABS housing resists crushing from accidental contact, and the hermetically sealed reed switch encapsulated in polyurethane holds up to both indoor and outdoor conditions including full IP67 water immersion. Same SIM100 integration and wiring as the surface-mount versions — just a cleaner, recessed look.

Use
Drill a 3/8" hole in the fixed frame and a matching hole in the moving panel. Press both halves in — no tools required after drilling. Connect the two wires from the sensor portion to a free switch channel on the SIM100 (no end-of-line resistor required). Configure the SIM100 channel mode to "No End of Line Resistor" via a Maretron DSM display or N2KAnalyzer software.
