An adapter that puts your existing resistive rudder angle sender on the NMEA 2000 network — no new sender to install, no drilling, just a bridge between what's already there and your NMEA 2000 displays.

Why It's Worth It
Most boats already have a resistive rudder angle sender wired to an analog gauge at the helm. The RAA100 makes that sender network-capable without replacing it — rudder angle becomes visible on any compatible NMEA 2000 display anywhere on the boat, alongside everything else on the network. If you want to keep your existing analog gauge, the RAA100 supports that too: it has a dedicated NMEA 2000/Analog Gauge Mode that lets both the network display and the original gauge work simultaneously, with no need to give anything up.

Use
Compatible with American standard resistive senders (240-33 ohm), European standard (10-180 ohm), or any resistive sender calibratable between 0-300 ohms. Mount within 15' (4.6m) of the analog gauge when using NMEA 2000/Analog Gauge Mode, or within 15' of the rudder angle sender when using standalone NMEA 2000 Mode. Calibration requires a Maretron DSM150, DSM250, DSM410, or N2KAnalyzer software. Mount in any orientation — horizontal, vertical, or upside down — in a dry or damp location away from heat sources.
