The SS175C-M-MM harnesses mid-range frequency technology to balance broad sonar coverage with extended depth capability. Spanning 85-135 kHz, this CHIRP-ready transducer excels at detecting fish and structure from shallow to mid-depth zones while maintaining exceptional bottom clarity and target definition down to 1,500 feet. The medium-frequency band provides the versatility needed for accurate returns across varying water columns and bottom compositions. Airmar's Tilted Element™ design positions the ceramic array at a fixed angle within the flush-mount housing, automatically correcting for hull deadrise and orienting the beam vertically to maximize echo reception and sonar accuracy.
