A lighter, quieter entry-level vertical windlass, built on Lewmar's VX platform with a hybrid gypsy that combines metal durability with composite quiet operation — gypsy-only, the lower-power option in the VX1 6/7mm line.

Fits 6/7mm (1/4") chain. The hybrid gypsy pairs a metal anchor-warp core with a polymer chain wheel, so the chain rides on a surface that absorbs noise instead of grating metal-on-metal — Lewmar markets this as the quietest gypsy in its class, and the gypsy itself is 15% lighter and 5% stronger than a conventional metal gypsy. The IP67-rated cover protects against water and dust, the first ingress-protection rating Lewmar has offered on a windlass this size.

This is the extended-kit version, which includes the deck unit, motor gearbox, solenoid, rocker switch, circuit breaker, and gypsy as a complete package. The 300W motor is the lighter-duty option in the VX1 6/7mm range — step up to the 500W version (69100031) if your ground-tackle weight calls for more pulling power.
