A pre-spliced anchor rode pairing 20' of G4 chain with 200' of 3-strand nylon rope, built to match Lewmar's V Series and Pro Series windlasses out of the box.

Use
A tapered splice joins chain to rope for a smooth transition through the gypsy, with a 3/8" shackle included to connect to your anchor. 3-strand is typically 20-30% less expensive than premium plaited line, making this a more economical rode option than an 8-plait equivalent — the trade-off is that 3-strand will stiffen over time in saltwater. If that happens, soaking it overnight in fresh water with fabric softener restores flexibility; if that doesn't help, it's time to replace the line.

As with any rode, remember the windlass doesn't stow line in the locker — gravity does — so confirm your anchor locker has enough depth and volume for the full 220' before ordering.
