The Simrad® HS65 is a GNSS-based heading sensor that provides accurate, interference-free heading and
positioning data for Simrad® marine electronics systems. By using satellite-based heading rather than
magnetic sensors, it eliminates interference from onboard electronics and metals.
Key features include:
• All-in-one heading and position sensor combining compass and satellite in a single device
• High-precision performance with less than 2° heading accuracy and under 1 meter position accuracy
• Dead reckoning capability to maintain heading temporarily if satellite signal is lost
• Seamless integration with Simrad® systems via NMEA 2000® connectivity
• Modern low-profile design with improved cable routing and flexible installation options
