A simple adapter that lets you install Lewmar's new-generation thruster controllers on a boat still wired for the older Black Box thruster system — no rewiring required.

Why It's Worth It
Upgrading to a current Gen 2 thruster controller usually means dealing with mismatched wiring if your boat's thruster is an older Black Box-based system. This converter bridges that gap directly, letting you reuse your boat's existing wiring rather than re-running cable runs through the boat just to install a newer control panel or joystick. Only one converter is needed per thruster, regardless of how many control stations you're adding.

Use
Installs next to the thruster controller. Compatible with all Lewmar TT thrusters fitted with a Blue Box (current generation), and with previous-generation TT thrusters fitted with a Black Box when this converter is added. Confirm your existing thruster uses the Black Box system before ordering — Gen 2 (Blue Box) systems don't need this converter.
