The world's first compact, low-profile stainless steel vertical windlass built for both power and sailboats — a complete kit that conceals its drive train under a clean deck unit, without the warping drum of the gypsy/drum version.

Why It's Worth It
Most vertical windlasses expose at least part of their drive train above deck. The V3 hides the worm gearbox and splined shaft entirely beneath a sleek stainless housing, so it looks good while it works — without sacrificing strength. The FastFit clamping system self-aligns the deck unit and motor gearbox during installation, eliminating the trial-and-error shim fitting that typically makes windlass installs a two-person job. A cone clutch and manual override (with optional chain release) give you smooth control and a mechanical backup if you ever need to recover the anchor by hand.

Use
Fits 5/16" G4 chain and 9/16" line through a rope-chain gypsy. Designed for power and sailboats 40'-50' (12-15m). Comes as a complete kit — windlass, rocker switch, dual-direction contactor, circuit breaker, and handle — so there's nothing extra to source separately for a standard install.
