Lewmar H2 Horizontal Windlass, Gypsy/Drum, 8mm (69600537)

A complete H-Series horizontal windlass kit with both gypsy and drum, sized for 5/16" chain and built for one-piece installation on boats up to 48'.

Use
Sized for 5/16" G4 or BBB chain paired with 9/16"-5/8" rope, this windlass handles both chain and rope rode through the same gypsy/drum unit. The integral contactor is built into the deck unit rather than wired separately, which protects it and saves installation time. The electro-polished stainless steel rode management system runs both rope and chain through the same path, and an optional manual recovery module lets you bring the anchor up by hand if you lose power.

To confirm sizing, Lewmar recommends adding the weight of your chain and anchor together, multiplying by 4, and checking that figure against the windlass's max pull — if your number comes close to or exceeds 1,433 lbs, step up to the H3.
