Maretron ALM100-01 NMEA 2000 Alarm Module

A 105 dB network-triggered alarm buzzer and visual indicator that puts an unmistakable audible and visual alert anywhere on the boat — triggered by any alarm condition on the NMEA 2000 network, with 32 distinct alarm patterns to distinguish different alert types.

Why It's Worth It
A DSM570 or N2KView alert is only useful if someone is looking at the display. The ALM100 solves that by putting a 105 dB piezoelectric sounder — louder than a fire alarm — wherever the crew needs to hear it, whether that's the helm, the engine room, the salon, or the crew quarters. The 32 selectable alarm patterns mean you can assign a different sound to different alert types (engine alarm vs. bilge alarm vs. CO alarm), so the crew knows what kind of problem they're responding to before they even look at a display. Multiple ALM100 units can be deployed throughout the vessel, each assigned to a unique annunciator instance, with different displays triggering different ALM100s depending on the type and location of the alert.

Use
Connects to any NMEA 2000 network via standard Micro-C. Mounts in a standard electrical (gang) box or flush directly to any wall surface using the included cover plate and gasket. Completely waterproof, so it can be mounted inside or outside the vessel. Configure using a Maretron DSM250, DSM410, or N2KView — assign an annunciator instance number (default 0; increment for each additional unit), select which alerts trigger which unit, and choose the alarm pattern for each alert type. A second green LED confirms the unit is powered and ready. An optional white cover plate (CP-WH-ALM100) is available if the standard black doesn't match the installation.
