Maretron DCR100-01 DC Relay Module

A six-channel NMEA 2000 relay module that lets you switch DC loads on and off from any display or device on the network — navigation lights, boarding lights, pumps, fans, or any load up to 10A per channel, controlled from the helm, from below deck, or remotely over the internet.

Why It's Worth It
Traditional electrical panels hardwire switches to loads at a fixed location — the DCR100 eliminates that constraint entirely. Once connected to the NMEA 2000 network, any of the six relay channels can be switched from any DSM250, DSM410, or N2KView-enabled device on the boat, and from anywhere in the world over Maretron's Real Time Cloud Service. The current monitoring on each channel is the feature that separates this from a basic relay box: the DCR100 reports how much current each load is actually drawing, so a burnt-out navigation light shows up as an alert rather than going unnoticed until someone manually inspects it — and a motor that's starting to draw more current than normal can be flagged before it fails. The module can also drive external relays for AC switching, extending its reach beyond DC loads.

Critical Installation Note
The DCR100's internal overcurrent protection (shuts down at ~12A) and thermal protection are designed to protect the module — not the load or the wiring. Each power source connected to the DCR100 must be protected by its own circuit breaker, sized for the wire gauge used, and no larger than 10A. Do not rely on the DCR100's internal protections to substitute for proper circuit protection.

Use
Connects to the NMEA 2000 network via standard Micro-C. Relay channels connect to load positive wires via screw terminals inside the module. Mount in any orientation — horizontal, vertical, or upside down — in a dry or damp location away from engines where temperature exceeds 130°F (55°C). Control via Maretron DSM250, DSM410, N2KView, N2KView Mobile, or Real Time Cloud Service.
