Why It's Worth It
Unlike a chartplotter or MFD that divides its screen between charts and instruments, the DSM570 is a dedicated vessel monitoring display — its entire 640x480 screen is always showing you instrument data in whatever format works best for that parameter. Numeric readouts for precision, analog gauges for at-a-glance situational awareness, bar graphs for tank levels, trend graphs for temperature or voltage over time — all configurable per screen, per data type, with up to 16 saved screens you can cycle through or leave on a single favorite. Alerts defined on the DSM570 are shared with other DSM570s, DSM410s, and N2KView installations on the same network, so an alarm acknowledged at the helm propagates to every other display onboard. The electrical switch control capability lets it control digital switching systems directly from the display — no separate switching panel needed.

Use
Flush-mounts via four stainless steel screws — the included black enclosure/bezel provides a clean finished surround. Connects to any NMEA 2000 network via standard Micro-C drop cable. Five silicone touch-pad keys with multi-color LED backlighting navigate all menus and screens with three programmable backlight levels (0-100%) for day and night use. Note the LEN of 9 — one of the highest in Maretron's lineup; confirm your network's power budget before adding this display to a heavily loaded trunk.
