Maretron DST110-01 Depth/Speed/Temperature Smart Triducer

A retractable, through-hull triducer that puts precise depth, accurate water speed, and exact sea temperature on your NMEA 2000 network simultaneously — no programming or calibration required out of the box.

Why It's Worth It
Three sensors in one through-hull fitting: a 235kHz depth transducer, a paddlewheel with Hall effect speed sensor, and a precision thermistor. Running all three from a single hole keeps the hull clean and minimizes installation complexity. The retractable, removable sensor design is a genuine maintenance advantage — when the boat is docked for extended periods or trailered, swap the sensor for the included blank plug to protect the paddlewheel from damage and reduce fouling growth without hauling the boat. The 235kHz frequency also doubles as a fishfinder transducer input, making the DST110 useful on fishing vessels where you'd otherwise need two hull penetrations.

Paired with the Maretron SSC300 compass, GPS200, and WSO200 wind station, the DST110 provides the water speed data the WSO200 needs to calculate true wind speed and direction from apparent wind measurements.

Use
Mounts through the hull via a 2" (51mm) hole saw — preferably on the starboard side where propeller blades move downward, away from turbulence. Plastic housing is standard and suits fiberglass or metal hulls; bronze housing is an optional upgrade for wooden hulls where wood swelling could overstress the plastic. Connect to any NMEA 2000 network via Micro-C drop cable. User-customizable speed and temperature calibration offsets let you fine-tune readings for your specific installation. Apply antifouling paint before installation for best bottom protection.
