Maretron FPM100-01 Fluid Pressure Monitor

A six-channel NMEA 2000 pressure monitor that puts fluid pressure and tank level data from up to six independent transducers on your network simultaneously — engine oil, hydraulic steering, raw water, tank depth, clogged filter vacuum, and more, all on one module.

Why It's Worth It
Most vessels run several pressure-sensitive systems that go completely unmonitored because wiring individual gauges to each one would be impractical. The FPM100 changes the math: six independent 4-20mA transducer inputs, each configurable independently for pressure/vacuum monitoring or tank level monitoring, all broadcasting to every NMEA 2000 display on the boat from a single module. In tank level mode, it solves a problem the ultrasonic TLM100 can't — tanks that are too deep, too irregularly shaped, or too internally obstructed for ultrasonic measurement work perfectly with a pressure transducer at the bottom. Calibration compensates for irregular tank geometry so the reading reflects true volume remaining, not a linear approximation.

Important Warning
Maretron's own pressure transducers are not approved for use with gasoline. For gasoline pressure or tank level monitoring, you must source a separate 4-20mA transducer rated for gasoline — not a Maretron PT-series unit.

Use
Each of the six channels is independently configured via a Maretron DSM display or N2KAnalyzer software for either Pressure/Vacuum Mode or Tank Level Mode. Supports up to 16 tanks per tank type (fuel, fresh water, waste water) across up to 16 tank types. Transducers connect via screw terminals inside the module housing; the NMEA 2000 connection is a standard Micro-C. Mount in any orientation — horizontal, vertical, or upside down — in a dry or damp location away from engines. If monitoring spike-prone systems (hydraulics, oil, pumped water), install a PT-SNUB-01 pressure snubber between the system and the transducer.
