A two-part, cylinder-format magnetic reed switch for indoor or outdoor use — the most versatile shape in the magnetic switch family, sized to fit where rectangular switches won't.

Why It's Worth It
The cylindrical form factor fits into tighter spaces than the rectangular MS-1085-N, and the NEMA 1/2/3/4/4x/5/6/12 environmental rating covers virtually any location on the boat from dry interior cabinets to fully exposed outdoor installations — giving it the widest environmental coverage of any switch in this family. At 1ms response time and 10 million dry circuit life cycles, it's a set-and-forget installation that will outlast most of what it's monitoring. Same SIM100 integration as the other switches in the family — no end-of-line resistor required.

Use
Surface-mounts on any flat surface — one half to the fixed frame, the other to the moving panel. Connect the two wires from the sensor portion to a free switch channel on the SIM100. Configure the SIM100 channel mode to "No End of Line Resistor" via a Maretron DSM display or N2KAnalyzer software.
