Maretron RIM100-01 Run Indicator Module

A six-channel NMEA 2000 run indicator that tells you exactly which electrical circuits on your boat are energized and running — from bilge pumps to running lights — with built-in timers and counters so you know not just if something is on, but how long and how many times it's run.

Why It's Worth It
A bilge pump that runs constantly is a symptom, not just a nuisance — and without visibility into when it's cycling, you won't know until the bilge is high or the pump burns out. The RIM100 changes that by broadcasting the status of up to six independently monitored circuits over the NMEA 2000 network to any compatible display anywhere on the boat. The built-in timers and counters go further than a simple on/off indicator: they log how long each circuit has been energized and how many times it's cycled, giving you the data to spot abnormal pump behavior before it becomes a real problem. Works equally well for manually switched loads (running lights, anchor lights, deck lights) and automatically switched ones (bilge pumps, exhaust fans, transfer pumps), and supports AC and DC circuits up to 240V.

Use
Mounts in dry or damp locations in any orientation — horizontal, vertical, or upside down — but keep it away from engines and engine rooms where temperatures exceed 131°F (55°C). Note the IP64 rating — lower than the IP67 of most Maretron products, so avoid locations subject to direct water spray or immersion. An optional Water in Fuel detector accessory (WIF-RK30880-E, sold separately) can be wired directly to the RIM100 to trigger an alert when water is detected in the fuel filter.
