A sacrificial zinc anode kit for Lewmar 250TT and 300TT bow thrusters — two anodes per kit, protecting the bronze hub and surrounding underwater metal components from galvanic corrosion in saltwater.

Why It's Worth It
The 250TT and 300TT use twin counter-rotating propellers rather than a single propeller — which means two anodes rather than one, one per propeller shaft. This kit covers both. As with the smaller thruster anodes, the large accessible nut makes in-water replacement straightforward at haul-out, and the stainless steel sleeve provides optimal retention so each anode stays securely in place through the operating forces of the thruster.

Compatibility Note
For bronze-hub thruster models only. The kit covers both the 250TT and 300TT — confirm your specific thruster model before ordering, though the anode geometry is identical across both sizes.

Use
Replace when either anode is heavily wasted, pitted, cracked, loose, or significantly reduced in size. Do not paint the anodes — coating them defeats their purpose. Install on clean, bare metal contact surfaces. Check at every haul-out. Replace both anodes at the same time — mismatched anode sizes reduce the protection offered to the more wasted one.
